Perez Hilton says "Sharon Stone is definitely feeling the backlash of her comments. And hard. And where it hurts her most. Not her heart, but her bank account! Upscale retailer Christian Dior has just pulled all of their advertisements featuring stone from China due to her remarks about the earthquake happening because of bad karma. Stone had a modeling contract with Dior's cosmetics section, which was being displayed in China. In a recent statement, Christian Dior China stated, "In light of the negative reaction that Sharon Stone's inappropriate remarks have triggered, Dior China has decided to immediately cancel and stop any advertisements, marketing campaigns and commercial activities associated with Sharon Stone. We don't agree with her hasty, unreflecting remarks and we deeply regret them. We just want our customers and fans to realize that her personal comments are not related to the company and of course we don't support any type of commentary that will hurt the feelings of our customers." BrietBart.com says " The 50-year-old US actress offered to help with relief efforts after the May 12 quake that killed nearly 70,000 people, in an effort to smooth over tensions sparked by her controversial comments at the Cannes Film Festival last week. "My erroneous words and deeds angered and saddened the Chinese people, and I sincerely apologise for this," she said in a statement issued by Dior China and sent to AFP on Thursday. " Reuters says "BEIJING (Reuters) – Luxury retailer Christian Dior has pulled advertisements featuring Sharon Stone from stores across China after the actress suggested the country's earthquake was "bad karma" for Beijing's policies in Tibet.
At least 68,000 people died in the May 12 quake in southwest China, which came months after unrest in Tibet that sparked an international outcry over Beijing's handling of the predominantly Buddhist region, which Communist troops entered in 1950." Belmish.com says "Sharon Stone issued an apology for saying China must have deserved the devastating earthquake that hit them because their government isn’t nice. “Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people. I am willing to take part in the relief work of China’s earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people.”

Hollywood star Sharon Stone has apologised for suggesting China's earthquake was bad "karma" for its handling of Tibet, but Christian Dior on Thursday dropped her from its local ads amid a public uproar.

Sharon Stone was quite correct about the earthquake being caused by China’s bad karma as a nation. Burma also has plenty has plenty of bad karma.
