Britney Spears turns lesbian and killer in Quentin Tarantino’s next movie.

Britney Spears is set to play a killer lesbian stripper in Quentin Tarantino's next movie.

The troubled singer is Tarantino's first choice to play a deranged dancer called Varla in the remake of 1965 cult film 'Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!'.

A movie insider said: "Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant.

"Britney is delighted, she thinks it could turn her career and her life around. A successful film could help her get out of her current nightmare.

"It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She's playing the most important character."

In the film, Varla – who was originally played by Tura Satana – leads a trio of violent strippers and kills a man with her bare hands.

Tarantino is now trying to persuade two other leading Hollywood beauties to sign up.

Continuing on her weekend of rest and relaxation, Britney Spears was spotted frolicking in the pool outside of her luxurious Cabo San Lucas, Mexico hold-up yesterday afternoon (July 27th).

The “Gimme More” babe looked summertime sexy in a white halter-style two-piece bathing suit as she spent time chatting and flirting with Palms Resort and Casino owner George Maloof.

Up next for the could-be comeback queen is a chance to redeem her 2007 MTV Video Music Awards mishap with a performance on this year’s show.  But nothing has been decided yet.

An insider told press, “They are going to leave it up until the week before to decide. But they can only advise her – Brit will do her own thing.” Spears is up for the Best Female Video award for “Piece of Me.”

Britney Spears Joins Porn star Jenny McCarthy in her Autism charity fundraiser

Britney Spears was seen out on Saturday at a fundraiser for autism charity Generation Rescue, headed by Jenny McCarthy, whose six year old son, Evan, has the disorder. Britney looked cleaned up and happy, and US Weekly reports that "she was clapping and smiling a lot" at the event. People.com notes that she didn't socialize much and stayed with her assistant but that she seemed interested in the presentations.

The event was held at McCarthy and her boyfriend Jim Carrey's home in Brentwood and was sponsored by Snow Queen Vodka. Also present were Charlie Sheen and his new wife Brooke Mueller, and Rose McGowan and her boyfriend Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez and McGowan are said to have "kissed and danced all night," so the reports of their breakup were either premature or they've reconciled.

Generation Rescue believes that autism is preventable and reversible. To prevent the disorder they recommend delaying childhood vaccines along with an alternate vaccine schedule. Their website notes that the current CDC vaccine schedule represents an increase in vaccines of 260% since 1983. They are not recommending not vaccinating children, but say that a more prudent approach may prevent autism. Scientific studies have not found a definite connection between autism and childhood vaccinations although many parents claim that their child developed the disorder right after being given vaccines. Some say that the influence of the drugs companies and a concern for public health have led to a suppression of research.

According to the group, neurological disorders such as ADD/ADHD, Asperger's, and Autism "are environmental illnesses caused by an overload of heavy metals, live viruses, and bacteria." The recommended treatment is "biomedical" and aimed at reducing the toxic load on the body in part through an all natural diet and supplements. Many parents swear by it, but others say it's unproven and is not a cure-all.

Britney has sons Sean Preston, who turns three in September, and Jayden James, who will be two in September. Last week she ceded full custody to her ex husband, Kevin Federline. She has two visits a week from the boys and one overnight and it is thought that if she continues to show progress she could move to another overnight and one more day per week.

Britney Spears recording new album.

Britney Spears is currently at work on an upcoming album, her vocal producer and co-writer Jim Beanz confirms exclusively to Usmagazine.com.

"Britney is amazing," Beanz (recipient of the famed Eurovision Award for his song "Believe") tells Us.

The singer, 26, has had her share of drama, but "we never see anything but positives out of her.

"Everyone has personal stuff, but a true professional doesn't bring it into the studio," adds Beanz, who just opened his own studio, Sunset Entertainment Group, in Bryn Mawr, Pa.

In April, her former manager Larry Rudolph told Us that Spears — who is currently in Kentwood, celebrating sisterJamie Lynn's new baby girl Maddie — had gone into the studio "just for fun."

Added Rudolph, "she is on the right path."

Spears' last album, Blackout, debuted at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The first single "Gimme More" was her most successful single in the U.S. since "…Baby One More Time."

Britney Spears is set to fly to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, on Wednesday, as her pregnant sister Jamie Lynn, 17, prepares to give birth, a source tellsUsmagazine.com.

The singer, 26, could stay home for at least a month.

At a hearing in her conservatorship case on Tuesday, a L.A. court commissioner pushed back a July 31 hearing to determine whether her father Jamie should maintain legal control over the singer.

The court commissioner said the singer will be on vacation and won't be back in time to participate in crucial meetings. (Lawyers will now review matters of evidence in the case at the July 31 hearing.)

At Tuesday's hearing, the court commissioner also granted Jamie permission to sell the singer's six-bedroom home in Studio City, California (where she was removed in January and forced into a psychiatric hospital).

Because her father is her co-conservator, the decision to sell the home required a court's approval.

Britney Spears and Mel Gibson had a smokin' date Tuesday night – at an exclusive Beverly Hills cigar club. 

For more than two-and-a-half hours, the singer, 26, and the actor-filmmaker, 52, met in what was confirmed to PEOPLE as a more of an ongoing guidance session than a business pow-wow. 

For their rendezvous at the members-only Havana Club, both showed up separately shortly before 7 p.m., well into the third game of the NBA finals between the L.A. Lakers and the Boston Celtics, which was playing at the bar. As for the smoking and watering hole itself, habitués include Ben Affleck, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Danny DeVito.

When Spears arrived, her bodyguard drove a Jeep Commander into the underground parking garage, and she exited with her blonde hair up and pulled back by a white headband. Also with Spears were her assistant Brett and a bodyguard. 

"She looked pretty in her new Capri jeans a blue blouse, white shoes and a brown bag," says a photographer. Earlier in the day, Spears was seen shopping at the Lisa Kline boutique in Beverly Hills, where she purchased the new jeans and tried on several necklaces. 

"Britney looked like a doll with bright red lipstick," added the photog, who described her as "very quiet" and "with a serious look on her face as she walked in to the Havana Club." 

By contrast, an upbeat Gibson left his silver Lexus with the valet and walked in holding what was described as a "man-purse" up to his face and a look of "okay, you got me" as paparazzi snapped his picture. 

Around 9:30, Spears left the club for home, while Gibson hung around until about 11. 

The two – once neighbors inside a Malibu enclave (Spears now lives in a gated community in Studio City) – began being seen in public together in March, at dinner in a restaurant. It was then learned that Gibson and his wife, Robin, had been looking in on Spears once she had checked out the hospital in February. 

In May, Gibson and his wife, and Spears and her father, all vacationed together in Costa Rica.

The source added: "There's a total of £5million on offer but the onus is on Brit to put in a top show.

"Britney is finally getting her life—and career —back on track and the whole world will see the evidence when she steps on that stage."
