Playboy’s Hugh Hefner, girlfriend call it quits

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) — Hugh Hefner is down a girlfriend.

The 28-year-old model-actress stars in the reality series with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt as one of the 82-year-old publisher's girlfriends who live with Hefner in the Playboy Mansion.

"If Holly says it's over, I guess it's over," Hefner said in a telephone interview Wednesday. "She's still here in the house. Until a few days ago, we were still sharing the same bed."

Hefner was surprised to hear Madison discussing their breakup, but acknowledged he knew a split was imminent after he told Madison that they would never wed or have children.

In a video posted on TMZ.com Tuesday, Madison said she's no longer with Hefner. She also said she is "still filming stuff together" with Wilkinson and Marquardt.

Hefner said Madison learned the pair would never have children or get married six months ago, adding: "The fact that she was depressed after that, I didn't know at all. That was a revelation in the last days and weeks. Quite frankly, we thought when the time came, we would make a combined statement and we expected that combined statement would be somewhere in the weeks and months ahead."

"The Girls Next Door" premiered on E! in 2001 and is in its fifth season. Hefner said he and the three women are committed to a sixth season, but he plans to seek out new live-in lovers. Hefner said 19-year-old Playmate twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon are living in the mansion, but they aren't his girlfriends — yet.

"It's now apparent there will be some new faces in my personal life and on the show," he said. "There's been moments that I've been down in the dumps about all this, and (personal assistant) Mary (O'Connor) told me to cheer up and pointed out that there are girls lined up outside the front gate. At my age, that's hard to believe, but it seems to be true."

Hefner's relationship with his remaining two girlfriends — Marquardt, 35, and Wilkinson, 23 — may also be in flux. Hefner said Marquardt is in Europe filming the new Travel Channel series "Bridget's Beaches," and Wilkinson may soon move out of the mansion and get her own apartment. Hefner said E! is interested in spin-offs with all three women.

The Playboy mogul expects to maintain a business relationship and friendship with Madison, who — along with Marquardt — originally was one of seven girlfriends living with Hefner in 2001 after his separation from Kimberley Conrad. Wilkinson was later asked to move into the Playboy Mansion in 2004. Hefner said he may again seek out seven — or more — girlfriends.

"It's a big house," he said. "And I'm not going to live alone. I'm definitely not going to live alone."

Kendra Wilikinson Explains How Three Girls Share Hugh Hefner

LOS ANGELES —  It can’t be easy sharing your (82-year-old) boyfriend with two other busty blondes, but for the past five years, Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardthave all managed to stay on asHugh Hefner‘s leading ladies.

So what makes it work? According to Wilkinson, it is the time spent apart that helps them all stay together.

"We are three very different people — we’re doing very different things with our lives and we don’t step on each other’s toes," she told Pop Tarts at Ryan Sheckler‘s X Games Celebrity Golf Tournament in California on Tuesday. "If we all wanted the same thing it wouldn’t have worked, because that’s where all the drama would have started, but we’re like the Spice Girls — I’m the sporty one. We are on different roads and they don’t intersect. We don’t spend time together every day — girls just can’t do that."

But it seems as though Kendra’s road might be leading her away from the iconic Playboy Mansion sometime soon. After five years of hopping about, the "Girl Next Door" says she's getting ready to swap parties for parenting.

"I was only 18 when I first moved in and I’ve grown up so much. I really have a new light on my life," Wilkinson said. "I’ve been thinking a lot about marriage and kids; I don’t care about going crazy and partying anymore. I’m focused on the real life things, my future. That’s who I am now."

Speaking of the current Kendra, this gal has seriously transformed her little bod from toned to super-toned. According to the starlet, results stem from doing "simple things like running and sit-ups" and drinking "lots and lots of carrot juice."

"My experience was such an awakening, but in an amazing way," she told us at Malibu’s Project BeachHouse for the Big Mac anniversary party on Sunday. "Thank God I never got into an accident — I’m glad it happened the way it did for me. God forbid I could have hit or killed someone."

Cat fight between Hefner’s girlfriends in Playboy Mansion

Hugh Hefner‘s main squeeze, Holly Madison, is reportedly running the mansion and calling all the shots.

The other girls, specifically girlfriend #2 Kendra Wilkinson, have had it with her bossy ways and tensions are running high on the set of their E! reality show, ‘The Girls Next Door.’

TMZ sources say that everyone “hates” Holly, especially Kendra. Apparently the two women can’t be in the same room together without the claws coming out.

As for Bridget, the “girlfriend” who’s always in the shadows, she’s in Switzerland and has tried to stay out of all the drama. She also tries to keep the peace between the two other bunny’s, to no avail.

Heidi has been stepping on toes at Playboy magazine as well. Sources say she wants control over over the spreads, which is obviously upsetting people who have worked for the magazine longterm.

Producers for the show are denying there are any problems on set.

Denise Richards going work with Playboy again.

Reality television star Denise Richards is considering shedding her clothes for Playboy magazine once again.

The former Bond girl, who posed for Hugh Hefner's magazine in 2004, is thinking about a return to the men's mag.

 "It's still a possibility," Richards told AOL.com. "It's so iconic and fun."

Richards, who is embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with ex Charlie Sheen, said she liked the attention she received after the first photo spread was published.

"I think that my niche is as a sex symbol. I'm never going to be the girl next door, so why not play up my niche?"

Miley Cyrus will be playboy playmate? – Shocking!

Hugh Hefner apparently enjoyed the Miley Cyrus bare-back photos so much, that he wants to see what's underneath the sheet. When she's 18, of course. I mean, c'mon, Hugh's not some dirty old man. He's more like, oh I dunno, Jesus. Here's the details from Extra:

Hugh, old chum, I disagree with you on Americans being schizophrenic about getting freaky. Just because sometimes sex is awesome, then bad, then interrupting my video games, then super cool, then something I cry during, doesn't mean all of us in the colonies have wacky views on the no-pants dance. If I need to build a castle out of LEGOs before knocking boots, that's perfectly healthy. Unless my lady friend uses up all the gray pieces first. Then she might as well call a taxi and get the heck out because I'm a man of principles, dammit.

Kim Kardashian Loves The Lakers – In Bikini – Playboy photo shoot

 

It’s been a good week for celebrity presence at Los Angeles Lakers games.  A couple nights ago, David and Victoria Beckham sat courtside to watch the Lakers clobber the Clippers, and last night Kim Kardashian cheered her hometown boys on to victory over the New Orleans Hornets.

Whether there was a conflict of interests involved (Kim’s dating New Orleans Saint Reggie Bush, who is from the same city as the Hornets) we’re yet to see.  But it looks like the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” babe was the good luck charm the Lakers needed to edge out the Hornets 107-104.

Earlier in the day, Miss Kardashian was spotted participating in a slightly more familiar activity- combing the racks at her favorite Beverly Hills boutiques.

And she did it in style, sporting a yellow, pink, and purple springtime sundress, with oversized sunglasses and a massive handbag.

HUGH Hefner got an early birthday surprise the other night when he and girlfriend Holly Madison entered his penthouse at the Palm in Vegas to be greeted by Pamela Anderson, who was stark naked except for a pair of high heels. "She was holding a cake, walked over to him, tussled his hair and wished him happy birthday. Hef couldn't believe it," one Playboy insider told us. What inspired Kim Kardashian to strip down and pose for Playboy magazine?  Many believe it was for nothing more than the fame and they would likely be right.  She already generated her fame by hanging around Paris Hilton, who went from party girl to international star with one quick home video that shocked the world.

Kardashian also had her own tape that helped boost her as well.  Somehow she has parlayed all of this into her newfound status as a Reality TV star for E! Online where she and her familyspend time revealing their lives on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" each week.

Kardashian and her family interviewed by Larry King on his talk show. Kim talks about her Playboy photos and posing for the men's magazine.  She told CNN she was proud of her work with the magazine but when it came to that wild sex tape with ray J, not so much.

She said she's ashamed of the tape of course and she then went on to open up about more of the show, but mostly was there to promote the second season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians".
